Spring is here! And with that comes a favorite holiday of mine, Easter. I went all out last year for Easter and I had plans to do the same this year. However, with everything going on in the world right now, (Yes, COVID-19 I am talking about you.) I am not sure just how much we will be able to do to celebrate.
But, I am trying to stay positive during this time and Easter is an especially important time to really keep that mindset for my children. We will have something huge to celebrate and we will have such a fun time talking about the resurrection and why Easter is such a big deal. So I want to try to still make this holiday very special for the girls. So, one thing I can do to celebrate right here at home is making Easter Baskets for the girls.

I decided to do all of my shopping for them online, and tried to knock it out early so there was plenty of time to get everything. I am still waiting for things to trickle in ( I mainly shopped from Target and Amazon). So, as I wait for everything to come in I wanted to share some of the great things I found!
I love making baskets for them, I had so much fun shopping different stores last year for things to fill their baskets with. It is always so sweet seeing them pull everything out! I usually get them both all of the same stuff so there is no fighting over anything. And thankfully with everything going on I was able to get most of my shopping done in an afternoon.
So, if you are still looking for Easter basket ideas take a look at these great Easter basket stuffers below:
How great are these? I think there are so many options online for things you can get online to make Easter super special for your kids. I love including things that are creative like a fun craft project. Or something silly and messy like play foam. I also usually include super cute clothes or new matching shirts for the girls like this one ( I cant wait to get pictures of them in it) Last year I got them plain pink shirts and matching bunny ears to wear during their Easter egg hunt!
I can’t wait to get everything in and start putting their baskets together. And I also can’t wait to plan their Easter Egg hunt! It will be a special time. We will make the most out of celebrating the holiday and spending time together. I hope you find this post to be helpful and are able to get all of your Easter shopping done!
