My Goals for 2021

January 11, 2021 Comments : 5

I am so excited for a new year. 2020 was definitely a year we will all remember and I am so hopeful for what is to come this year. I love sitting down before a new year and setting goals for myself. And this year is no different. I created a vision board, made personal goals and professional goals.

A lot of my goals will be pulled from my 2020 goals last year because I wasn’t able to get it all done. Which is totally fine. I gave myself a lot of grace last year with everything going on. So with that being said here are some of my goals for 2021:

Focus on my Relationship with God

This is a goal I have every year. It is something I believe I should never stop working on. I can definitely say this is a goal I focused on last year and I am excited to continue to grow in this area. I am starting this year out with a 21 day fast to focus more on my relationship with God and I am so ready for what will come from it!

Simplify my Life

I am a busy lady. I work from home full time, have two sweet little girls and do the whole Instagram/blogging thing on the side. And because of all of the things I have going on I feel like my life has gotten a bit chaotic. So I want to focus this year on weeding out the things that are no longer needed in my life. I want to focusing on having systems in place and surrounding myself with things that help me towards my goals and purpose.

Journal Every Day

This is really important to me. I have a bad memory and I hate that I forget so many parts of my every day life. Last year I decided I wanted to document as much of my life as possible by journaling every day. I did really well last year and I am rolling this goal over to 2021 because it is still something I want to focus on!

Blog Consistently

Super excited that this blog is up and running. I fell off of it last year. Due to everything going on. But this year I am determined to make it a top priority. I love writing and sharing things that are helpful to others and I have so much planned for this space of mine!

Read 24 Books

My reading goal last year was to read 30 books and thanks to quarantine I had plenty of time to hit that goal. This year I am setting a smaller goal because I have so much I want to accomplish this year. So for 2021 my goal is to read 24 books. Which to me is 2 books a month and totally doable. Follow along with me on good reads!

Use my Platform to bring Glory to God

I love blogging and I love connecting with others on Instagram and I feel like it is a great way to share my love of Christ. Nothing I do matters if I am not glorifying Him in the process. I consider myself a Faith Based lifestyle blogger and I want to put an EMPHASIS on “faith based” this year.

So, those are my goals for 2021. If you are still thinking of ideas for things to work towards this year then I hope this post is helpful to you! If you already know your goals for 2021 I would love to hear some of them in the comments below!

There is nothing better than simplifying your life. Stay focused on me and what I do on a daily basis, are what I plan to do.
